Homemade Nutella
Homemade Nutella
As you all know, I love my dessert and I’m always looking for ways to make them a bit more guilt-free!
Nutella has long been one of my most favorite desserts and I try to stay away because of the unfortunate “natural flavors” included in the ingredients list.
So I made my own Nutella in Miami and, you guys, this is so simple and actually TASTIER than the real thing!
Note: I made this with a food chopper, as I don’t have a processor. Surprisingly, the consistency was pretty close but I bought the processor today to perfect it.
Homemade Nutella in Miami
Ingredients:
- Hazelnuts (I used already roasted, unsalted without the shell. If you have raw, just roast them and place them in a dish towel to rub shells off)
- cacao powder (you can also use melted chocolate. If you do, omit the maple syrup)
- maple syrup
- pinch of Himalayan salt
- vanilla extract
- milk of choice (I used Almond)
Directions:
- Once hazelnuts are toasted and shell-free, place in food processor and blend until creamy.
- Add all the ingredients and continue in a blender until you get the right consistency
That’s it! Now I don’t have specific measurements, as I just add until it looks and tastes perfect!
Have you tried this?
